On-Site Warranty Terms and Conditions Guide for Domestic Pumps and Controllers
This is a warranty guideline to assist customers with the process to follow should an issue become evident. Biomek Pty Ltd does not accept liability and reserves all its rights and without prejudice.
1. Warranty Coverage: This product is covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase to be verified by till slip. This warranty covers a telephonic call over video to assess installation and pump issue, if it is established there is a claim and all items are installed correctly we will confirm a warranty replacement instruction to return to store to collect a replacement component for the approved claim. Should it not be clear to the issue on site and provided installation has been done correctly we will advise to return pump to the store for inspection by our technician. At our discretion a qualified technician may visit the installed product’s location to inspect, repair, or replace any defective components resulting from manufacturing faults or material defects.
Warranty coverage does not entail full replacement of all components and where repairs would be required these will be carried out.
2. Installation Requirement:
The product must be installed by a qualified installer as per the manufacturer’s guidelines. Failure to do so may void the warranty.
3. Exclusions:
This warranty does not cover:
Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, neglect, or unauthorised modifications.
Environmental factors such as exposure to water, extreme temperatures, or outdoor elements (Pump covers or shelter from the elements are a necessity and installed off the ground away for potential ground water).
Damage caused by power surges, lightning strikes, or other electrical anomalies. Damage caused by grit, stones, calcium or any other chemical build up inside the pump, leaves and debris entering the impeller housing – The pumps is designed for clean water only.
4. Surge Protection Recommendation:
It is strongly recommended to install surge protection to safeguard the product. Damage caused by power surges is not covered under this warranty.
5. Warranty claim process:
For Initiating a Warranty Claim:
- Contact our support team at 068 608 9722 to report the issue during office hours Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm
- To initiate the warranty claim, you must supply all the below items for the warranty claim process in-order to assist effectively:
- Provide a clear video via whatsapp or email demonstrating the problem and showing the product’s installation. This is required to verify that the product has been correctly installed.
- Provide proof of purchase till slip from the store showing the item purchased with purchase date.
6. Legal Disclaimer:
This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws, which remain unaffected.
7. Limitation of Liability:
The manufacturer’s liability under this warranty is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the product. No consequential or incidental damages will be covered.
